Q125 Celebration

The Q125 Celebration was held on July 4, 5, and 5, 2003, and is now a happy memory. Many former residents and friends returned to visit and reminisce about the "good old days." Those memories have been preserved in DVD and VHS format as well as the special, extended 228 page history book and cookbook. Prices have been greatly reduced.

There are still a few of memorabilia items available which will make great Christmas gifts and will become collectibles.

Souvenirs available include:

  • Brainard, Nebraska: From Then to Now, the First 125 Years - A 228 page, history book with a hard cover featuring 600 photos and 300 family stories, businesses, clubs, organizations, churches, schools, timeline and news stories. Cost: $20 plus $5 shipping and handling.

  • "Brainard through the Seasons" - An hour long movie featuring Brainard including businesses, events, town improvements, and seasonal scenes complete with background music and captions. Available in DVD or VHS. Cost: $10 plus $3 shipping and handling. Please indicate DVD or VHS.

  • "Q125 Highlights, 2003" - One hundred (100) minute movie highlighting the entertainment and events throughout the July 4, 5, and 6 celebration. Cost: $10 plus $3 shipping and handling. Please indicate DVD or VHS.

  • "Q125 Parade on July 6, 2003" - Unedited copy of parade. Cost: $5 plus $3 shipping and handling.

  • Collector's Plate - 9 1/4" gold banded porcelain plate with view of Brainard's Main Street. Cost: $15 plus $10 shipping and handling.

  • Brainardopoly - Game features Brainard businesses, churches, and organizations with Monopoly style game board, cards, and tokens. Cost: $10 plus $5 shipping and handling.

  • Q125 Recipes and Remembrances Cookbook - 343 pages of family and "easy to cook" recipes, historic pictures, and history of Brainard. Cost: $10 plus $3 shipping and handling.

Cornerstone Celebration DVD Video

Holy Trinity Cornerstone Celebration DVD Video featuring historic pictures of Holy Trinity Church, school, rectory, and Klein Center. The slide show features events and activities during the last 100 years including 2006 improvements and the Cornerstone Celebration held June 11, 2006. Over 350 pictures were used! Script with additional information and identification is included.
