Established in 1988, the Brainard Economic Development Council works to promote economic development and to ehance the community's vitality, quality of life, and the desirability as a place to live. The Brainard Comprehensive Plan can be reviewed for lots zoned for light and heavy industry. The Economic Development Council is jointly working with the Butler County Economic Development Council to develop a specific listing of sites and buildings. Contact the Village Board for information regarding utilities, zoning, ordinances, and possible incentives.
